Nairobi National Park

Yesterday Clarice took me on a game drive at the Nairobi National Park. Inside is all dirt roads and wild animals - so cool! We saw 4 of the 5 big animals - lion, rhino, leopard, buffalo (elephant is the fifth, but they don't live in the park). We also saw giraffes, waterbucks, gazelles, zebras, deer, hippos, alligators, baboons, and lots of different types of birds. We were in there for about 5 hours, but it was incredible. A lion walked right by my car door. I felt like I was in The Lion King. Also, the park is about 10 mins drive from the city, so you can see the skyline from inside. This whole group of giraffes stopped, but we didn't know why. Then we saw..

A leopard! It looked so tame I wanted to pet it but I'm sure there's good reason for the giraffes to fear it.

At the end we saw a huge family of baboons, but my camera battery had died by then. So sad, because baby baboons are so cute!
